Gary Brewster has spent his entire life surrounded by horses. Originally hailing from London, England, Gary was raised in Red Deer. He spent his younger years in pony club and graduated from the junior ranks by winning the 1989 CET Medal Finals under the guidance of Chris Brand. After three years spent working with Brent and Laura Balisky at Thunderbird Show Stables, he branched out on his own settling at Twin Oaks Farm.

Under the guidance of Trevor Graham, Gary quickly developed a string of talented Grand Prix horses competing at the FEI level at North America's most prestigious show venues. In 2007 he won the Western Division of the Jump Canada National Talent Squad Series aboard Watermark.

The Twin Oaks program is based around Gary's ideology of working with each horse and rider on an individual basis. Across the board between the jumper, hunter, and equitation disciplines – he provides his clients with the assets needed to be confident both in, and out of the show ring.
